What are Trade Secrets?

One of the commonly heard about Trade Secrets is the Coca-Cola® formula.  Trade Secrets must be tightly controlled to retain their protection.  Processes for control of how the secret information may be accessed are critical.  Anyone who wishes to use Trade Secret protection must have a formal plan that should be in writing to prove that they are trying their best to keep everything secret.
